AU-11CD-4K22 – Full 4K HDMI Audio De-embedder (up to 5.1) with built-in Repeater

The AU-11CD-4K22 is an advanced HDMI De-embedder and repeater with integrated audio extraction, up to 5.1. Connect the AU-11CD-4K22 between your source and display via HDMI, and select the audio format required. This device supports 4K resolutions (HDR), HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 enabling flexible audio signal management from ultra high definition video signal paths. The built-in HDMI repeater function allows users to extend the transmission distance of up to 4K2K@60 resolutions a further 5m from the device HDMI output.

The AU-11CD-4K22 HDMI De-embedder supports HDMI high resolution digital audio format bypass. Formats including LPCM 2 Channel, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio.  Audio sampling rate up to 192 kHz are supported, allowing a full enjoyment of synchronised video and audio.

What does a HDMI audio de-embedder do?

An HDMI audio de-embedder (sometimes called an HDMI audio extractor) is a device that separates the audio part of an HDMI signal from the video and provide additional audio connectors that output that audio signal. In this case the audio outputs are an Toslink optical digital and a stereo analogue RCA (phono) audio connectors. With this product, as is common with these products, the HDMI signal maintains both the audio and video signals so you do not lose the audio signal from the HDMI output connection.

What audio formats are supported by the AU-11CD-4K22?

The AU-11CD-4K22 has a bypassed HDMI output so no matter what audio format is input this will always be maintained at its HDMI output. LPCM 2CH, Dolby Digital 2/5.1CH & DTS 2/5.1CH can be output via the AU-11CD-4K22's Toslink S/PDiF optical audio output whilst an analogue stereo signal is output via the L/R RCA (phono) connections.
