The AVX-105C-KIT is a 4K UHD+ USB-C to HDMI CAT extender kit, that is designed for high-quality AV extension with minimum latency.

The AVX-105C-KIT is a 4K UHD+ USB-C to HDMI CAT extender kit uses a sophisticated ultra-light compression scheme (lossless for most content) it’s a great solution for extending 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) audio/video streams.

Advanced video content such as HDR (High Dynamic Range), 10-bit colour and multi-channel HD Bitstream audio can be easily transmitted. The use of 10 Gigabit Ethernet allows for extension distances of up to 100m when using Cat.6A/7. Additionally, this unit’s compact form factor, and its PoE functionality, which can extend power to the receiver, makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces, or inclusion in AV rental kits.

This extender can send a 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 signal up to 100m via Cat.6A/7 cabling.

Do I connect a power supply to both the transmitter and receiver?

No, you only need to connect the power supply to the transmitter. As the transmitter supplies PoC (Power over Cable) to the receiver via the Cat cable.

What is the difference between AVX and HDBaseT?

They are both technologies used to extend audio and video signals over Cat cables but they use different methods to process and transmit the video signal between the transmitter and receiver.

What is the difference between the AVX-105C-KIT and other AVX extenders in CYP's product range?

The AVX-105C-KIT transmits audio and video from a USB-C input and extends it across a Cat cable. Whereas the other AVX extenders in our product range extends USB-C over Fiber or HDMI over Cat and Fiber.
