PUV-1550STX – HDBaseT1 Scaling Transmitter with PoH, LAN, Audio/OAR and HDMI bypass {End of Life}

The PUV-1550STX HDBaseT Transmitter/Scaler enables transmission of video resolutions up to 4K UHD, along with HD audio, 2-Way IR, RS-232, PoH (Power over HDBaseT), and LAN signals up to 100m. As well as a HDMI input, this unit features a local HDMI output supporting video signals up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit) and 4K@24Hz HDR. Full 4K UHD content for transmission over the HDBaseT output signal can be converted to 4K@60Hz (4:2:0, 8-bit) or 1080p@60Hz, in order to fit within HDBaseT bandwidth limitations (10.2Mbps). Simple 4K UHD test patterns can also be outputted. 1080p signals can also be upscaled to 4K UHD and transmitted to the receiver. Control of remote devices is possible via bi-directional RS-232, IR ports as well as a LAN connection. A analogue audio output provides users with the ability to receive Optical Audio transmitted from the PUV-1550SRX or de-embed audio from the HDMI source. The PUV-1550SRX also has on board EDID Management which is useful when troubleshooting connected displays.

  • Upscales 1080p signals to 4K UHD over HDBaseT output or downscales 4K signal to 1080p (same framerate is maintained)
  • Supports automatic 4K@60Hz RGB/YUV 4:4:4 to YUV 4:2:0 conversion for HDBaseT output
  • Support signal bypass on HDMI output
  • Supports data rates up to 600MHz/18Gbps and Deep Colour up to 48-bit
  • Supports 4K resolutions including: 3840×2160@24/25/30Hz, 4096×2160@24/25/30Hz, 3840×2160@50/60Hz (4:4:4) & 4096×2160@50/60Hz (4:4:4)
  • Supports pass-through of HD audio formats: LPCM 2/5.1/7.1CH, Dolby Digital 2/5.1CH, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio
  • Supports OAR (Optical Audio Return) and DAC (Digital to Analog Conversion) audio conversion
  • Internal test pattern generation at select resolutions for on-site display testing
