PUV-1660TTX – 1 x HDMI, 1 x USB-C and 1 x Mini DP over Single CAT5e/6/7 HDBaseT™ Table-Top Transmitter (Single LAN & PoH up to 100m)

The PUV-1660TTX is a brand new AV concept for the Commercial & Corporate channel. Presentation equipment in corporate meeting rooms can often be difficult to operate and can provide the user with challenges when connecting their source to the installed AV system. Flexible meeting rooms are also becoming more commonplace, which is where the PUV-1660TTX provides the perfect balance between ease of use and portability.

The PUV-1660TTX Transmitter is a 1 x HDMI, 1 x USB-C and 1 x Mini DP (display port) switch which allows uncompressed signals to be transmitted over a Single CAT5e/6/7 cable. This solution has the added features of analogue audio em-bedding and a LAN connection over the same CAT5e/6/7 cable. These combined AV and control signals can be transmitted up to lengths of 100 metres to a compatible PUV-1600 Series Receiver. When a device is connected to the PUV-1660TTX, simple AV control automation can be applied to ‘power up’ the connected display and select the correct HDMI input channel (programmed via the Web GUI).

This unit also supports automatic input detection between inputs using hot plug detection, offering the user ‘hands free’ control of the device. Despite the 10.2Gbps bandwidth limitation of HDBaseT this clever transmitter will automatically convert signals of higher bandwidths ensuring any HDMI 4KUHD signal can be passed through the HDBaseT system. The unit also features push button control on the front of the panel. For added flexibility, the unit is powered by PoH supplied by a compatible PUV-1600 series receiver.
